Your result

Fill in what you know and press Check this building. Unknown answers are fine; the result tells you which ones matter.

Guidance, not engineering advice. Your fire marshal (AHJ) makes the final call.

How the checker decides

The checker compares your answers with the structured rules on each requirements page. Exemptions are checked first. If an exemption depends on something you did not answer, the result says which answer would change it. Every result links to the statute or fire marshal document it relies on, and the date we last verified it.

Questions people ask

Is the checker's answer final?

No. It reports what the published rules say for the facts you enter. Your fire marshal (AHJ) decides, usually after a signal test inside the building. Treat the result as a starting point for that conversation.
